PDS urges people to help with medicine improvements

A leading charity is calling on people to complete a survey to improve services to those affected by Parkinson's disease.

An online survey has been posted by the Parkinson's Disease Society (PDS) in order to gather important information about the condition and how people are affected by it.

The PDS explained that experiences of Parkinson's disease medication vary widely, so it is imperative that as many people contribute as possible for the future health of those hit by the neurodegenerative disorder.

It explained that the survey is operated by Datapharm in the interests of fairness, as the organisation is a not-for-profit independent company that works with the NHS, a number of pharmaceutical firms and other healthcare organisations to provide medicine information.

The PDS concluded: "Your response will help make sure only high quality, relevant and useful information about medicines in the UK is available to people with Parkinson's and other conditions."

This year, the PDS celebrated its 40th year anniversary, in which time the charity has invested no less than £40 million into research and treatment of those with Parkinson's disease.
